(Yeah la I know I have zero creativity when it comes to blog entry titles)

I just realized that my recent entries have revolved quite a bit around the subject of music. You guys must think I'm obsessed! *le gasp* But before I go on about music (again), I'd like to briefly talk about my trip to Dublin last week! :D

There were no specific reasons as to why we chose Dublin as our destination, other than the fact that flights to other places we wanted to go to were too bloody expensive! *long dramatic sigh* O, the toil of student life!

But regardless, I had a wonderful time in Dublin... mostly I think it was because I didn't have to think or worry about anything (other than what to eat for my next meal - food in Dublin is exorbitantly priced man!), but I guess that's the main idea of having a holiday right - to have an escape. And it was lovely because Dublin wasn't all hustle and bustle like the overtly commercialized streets of London.

So these were the things that we did: Visited Guinness factoryyyy, drink Guinness, visited Kilmainham gaol, went on a 3-hour walking tour with a very lively and interesting tour guide (Androo he reminded me a bit of you haha don't know why), went on pub crawls which involved more Guinness, ate quite a lot of ice cream, WENT ON A CARRIAGE (whoohoo! fun fun), hung out a lot at Temple Bar and drank some more Guinness.

As you can see, Guinness was an integral part of the trip. Hey, it's Ireland, for feck's sake!

I didn't do that many things, actually, but I think that was part of the appeal of the whole holiday; I don't like the idea of going somewhere and then having to rush to fit things into a crazy schedule to see this and that and whatnot. I'd rather go to a few places, chill and have a good time with good company, and that was what I had in Dublin. :)

In other news! I have recently made a decidedly worthwhile investment in a new microphone - the Samson C01U USB Studio Condenser Microphone! I probably have been thinking about getting a better microphone since I was, what, 18 years old. Three years down the road, I have finally stopped procrastinating and got to it. I've been slightly obsessed with it in recent days and during my breaks between studying, I've been recording videos to put up on YouTube!

The audio quality is sooooo much better now. :) I'm so happyyyyy!

I have since revived my YouTube account by putting up some videos (visit my channel here). Here are two of them - 28 Days and a cover of MJ's Man In The Mirror. :)

28 Days (Original)

Man In The Mirror (Cover)

The other two that are up so far are Jackson 5's I Want You Back and Man Bai's Kau Ilhamku; I don't think I need to promote the latter any more, Pinkpau has very very kindly shared my video in her latest blog entry, and consequently, the viewcount skyrocketed like crazy overnight! :D Thank you so muchhhhh pinkpau! :)))

Anyway, if you guys like what you hear, do share it with your friends or subscribe to my YouTube channel. Lots of love and appreciation to those who have been so supportive so far, you know who you are! :)
